Mercedes Benz have agreed to fix the two river boats of the Municipality so that it can be used by the two River Rangers for purposes of compliance and enforcement

Removal of Water Hyacinth

The Department of Environment are controlling the water hyacinth above the Abbotsford Causeway by spraying it with herbicides

Waste Removal

The Nahoon River Residents have a monthly clean-up campaign where residents pick up waste along the estuary, and to place it at the Batting Bridge Picnic Site where it is collected by BCMM
